After I upgraded my default Vivaldi browser (portable version), links from widgets open with Edge. From start search instead they still open correctly with my default browser.

I have Skype version 8.113.0.210, and it now opens any link in Edge (my default browser is Chrome)

I have a need to let Quickbooks continue to open in edge. I have not gotten it to respond correctly the few times it has opened a page in chrome, although it claims to be supported. It doesn't necessarily have to be edge could it could be internet explorer. As I recall Internet Explorer is being depreciated though... Thanks a bunch!

Im trying this utility, It seems to be working like a charm so far. There is just a small problem, in the start menu search if you click on certain results on the right side of the search window, it opens with bing image instead of google image. I have installed the Crometana Pro too. Anyway I don't have Cortana on my Windows 11 pro.

There is always the microsoft-edge:// URI scheme interception code from widgets, which always try to open with Edge. In my case it doesn't open anything, 'cause I totally disabled Edge. You can't change that setting to default browser.

PWAs don't work anymore. Whether it is installed or not, I get this error.
"Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Wedge\Edge\pwahelper.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.

The installer for wedge is marked as malware by the following vendors:

1. Windows smart defender sometimes marks installer as the malware below and quarantines the installer executable as soon as it is downloaded
   • Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml
   • Program:Win32/Wacapew.C!ml
2. Google prevents downloading the file completely, marking it as dangerous

Hi. Glad to find this. I would like to automate its installation but it's not available through winget. Can the installer be used through scripting?

I'm new to all of this, so I apologize if this is not the right place to ask, but how would I determine which path the installer is referring to when it gives the error message "Error on step 4/5 The system cannot find the path specified. (os error 3)"?
