= Why i need AdSense Click Fraud Monitoring Plugin? =

* Prevent malicious clicks by bots on your advertisments
* Prevent malicious clicks by human user on you ads
* Prevent clicks by friends on your Ads who want to “help” you.
* Prevent unintended clicks by your own
* Blocks a list of specific IP´s including your own IP

<strong>Why you need this:</strong>
Google takes care that every click on any AdSense advertising is done by a real human visitor. Automatic clicks by crawl bots or a lot of automated or manual processed clicks (a so-called clickbomb) can lead to a complete and permanent exclusion from the google AdSense service. All your earnings are lost and it is very hard to get back the access to your account. (Most often impossible)

<strong>Why are there invalid multiple clicks on my ads? </strong>
There are several possible reasons. Its possible that a competitior wants to harm you. Another reason could be html errors. For example navigation elements could be covered and overlayed by adsense advertisings. This happens often on mobile devices when some mobile screensizes are not properly tested.
So when a user intends to click on this navigation element he rather clicks unintentionally on the ads behind it. This could easily lead to dozens of unintended and invalid clicks.
Additionally this could also harm your websites reputation for the internal google search algorithms . We do not know how google internally works but it is only an logical assumptions that google could give a website a better reputation when it delivers more quality clicks on ads.

All this invalid clicks have in common that you as the AdSense account owner are responsible for any click fraud.

<strong>How can i detect invalid clicks on my advertisings?</strong>
You recognize unusual clicks very easy when when you compare your usual daily page CTR. For example, if this is a averaged value of 1 - 3 % and it jumps suddenly one time up to 5, 10 or even more, this could be an indication for a click fraud attack on your website.

This is the perfect situation where "Click Fraud Monitor" can be helpful...for prevention!

Purchase extended [Click-Fraud Monitoring](http://demo.clickfraud-monitoring.com/ "AdSense Click-Fraud Software")
</p>

= How does it work? =

The Plugin counts all clicks on your advertisments. When clicks exceed a specified number, AdSense is disabled and removed from the source code. The user or bot is blocked on a IP basis for further clicks. At the same time the plugin sends you a notification by email. (Only Premium)

= How to install and setup? =
Install this plugin and wrap your AdSense or other advertising code into a new div with the class "cfmonitor".

For AdSense your code should look like: `<div class="cfmonitor">YOUR AdSense CODE HERE</div>`

From now on every click on your ads are counted by the IP and current user session. If the clicks reach a adjusted number of clicks within a specified timerange, the advertising is deactivated for that visitor and no further click fraud is possible. If that happens, you´ll get a email notofication and are able to see in the admin panel what´s going on by a list of blocked visitors.
If there should be a larger attack on your site with a lot of different IP´s you are able to hide all advertisings complete or only selected by country. That helps enourmous to react and investigate the case without loosing too much of your earnings.

Google is pretty good to recognize a few mistaken clicks but a larger attack should be reported at the official Google contact form [Invalid Clicks Contact Form](https://support.google.com/adsense/contact/invalid_clicks_contact?hl=en "Invalid Clicks contact form")

= Why would Google ban me? =

In easy words: Google takes care that every click on any AdSense advertising is done by a real human visitor. Automatic clicks by crawl bots or a lot of automated or manual processed clicks (a so-called Clickbomb) can lead to a complete and permanent exclusion from the Google AdSense service. All your earnings are lost and it is very hard to get back the access to your account. (In most cases impossible) The motivation behind such automatic clicks is very different. Maybe some competitor wants to harm you or a technical leads to multiple clicks by a human user. They all have in common that you as the AdSense account owner are responsible for any click fraud. You recognize unusual clicks when your page CTR is 1 – 3 % averaged and than it jumps up to 5, 10 or even more.

== Other Notes ==

Let me explain why you need extra protection for your Google AdSense account.

= Definition of Click fraud and Invalid clicks =

I often get questions from new website owners about the meaning what these two terms mean, and i'd like to help you to understand the difference.
Google Adsense defines Invalid clicks as clicks for which they decide not to charge their AdWords advertisers, since they may artificially drive up advertiser cost or publisher revenue. These include extraneous clicks without any value to the advertiser, such as the second click of a double-click. They also include many other types of clicks that the have determined aren't motivated by genuine user interests.

Google Adsense "Invalid clicks" are often confused with "clicking on your own ads". However, they would like to stress that invalid clicks are generally any clicks that artificially inflate advertiser cost or publisher revenue, regardless of their source.

Google Adsense Click fraud is a subset of invalid clicks that are generated with malicious or fraudulent intent -- in other words, clicks that are intended to drive up advertiser cost or publisher revenue artificially. Sources for these clicks include, but are not limited to:
* A publisher clicking on his own ads, or encouraging clicks on his ads
* Users or family members clicking to support the site / publisher
* Third-party programs with user incentives, such as paid-to-click services and click-exchanges
* Automated clicking tools, robots, or other deceptive software

The same principles above apply to ad impressions and conversions as well. Some sources of invalid impressions include, but are not limited to:
* Excessive page refreshes, generated either manually or automatically
* Third-party programs with user incentives, such as paid-to-surf or auto-surf programs
* Third-party programs for purchasing fixed amounts of traffic, e.g. "$10 for 1,000 page views"

As a reminder, any method that artificially generates impressions, conversions or clicks is strictly prohibited by the [Google AdSense program policies.](https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/48182?sourceid=aso&subid=ww-en-et-asblog_2008-08-08&medium=link) You can also find more information about these topics in the
[Google AdSense Invalid Clicks FAQ](https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/16737?ref_topic=1348720&rd=2) and the [Google AdSense Ad Traffic Quality Resource Center.](http://www.google.com/ads/adtrafficquality/)

= Why do i need extra protection for Google AdSense =

Thats very easy: Google will not tell you in advance or at the same timepoint about any issue with your click conversion rate
when they detect something strange like a lot of increasing clicks or clicks only from a specific country. The reason is obviously the fact that smart people could find out the detection formula behind the AdSense programm. They could be able to find out what they have to prevent so Google would not be able to recognize if a click had been done by a real visitor, a bot or any instructed visitor.
The complete AdSense programm would be totally broken and not working profitable any more

So, Google will watch you for a time and when you do not expect it, they will immediately close your account and will not give you any reason for it. They will even close your account for any detected issue which has been done in the past, from days or weeks ago.
You have no chance to find out what you or any other party did on your website that leads to your banned AdSense account.

The only thing you can do is to take care that Google AdSense will never be able to detect any suspicious activities regarding the AdSense click behavior on your website, so have to reduce the malicious clicks on your site as much as possible.

Be safe, use the ClickFraud Monitor!
