Experiencing this, I was getting the following error on npx eas build --profile development --platform android
FAILURE: Build completed with 2 failures.
1: Task failed with an exception.

A problem occurred evaluating project ':react-native-quick-sqlite'.Cannot get property 'hermesEnabled' on extra properties extension as it does not exist

Run with --scan to get full insights.

After much headache, I added hermesEnabled=true
to the end of the Top-level gradle.properties. Then ran npx react-native clean-project
followed by yarn expo prebuild
. It finally succeeded a build on npx eas build --profile development --platform android
.
