This is the backend app I wrote in Swift using Vapor for the Foodybite app.
Install Vapor by running the following command in terminal:
brew install vaporRun the following command to install Docker:
brew install --cask dockerYou can refer to this article for additional details.
open -a DockerWait until Docker initialisation finishes and run the following command to download the Postgres image:
docker pull postgresdocker run --name postgres -e POSTGRES_DB=vapor_database \
-e POSTGRES_USER=vapor_username \
-e POSTGRES_PASSWORD=vapor_password \
-p 5432:5432 -d postgresOpen Package.swift using Xcode, compile and run the project
