Darn! I thought I'd checked that algo.monads came preinstalled. I need to figure out how to do this for people who're using Light Table.
from fp-oo.
Actually, algo.monads should be installed in fp-oo/lib the first time you use lein repl
, since it's required by midje, which is in the project file. Are you using a different project file?
from fp-oo.
Yes I'm not using a "lein repl" started from the fp-oo git project.
I'm using either Light Table or Eclipse + CCW plugin (depending on which workstation I'm working on).
In general I like the approach of loading an initial source file in a whichever plain Repl process, without any external dependency. This worked for all the book's examples I tried so far (I read 80% of it), excluding only the algo.monads's ones.

If it is required starting a "lein repl" from the fp-oo project folder I'd prefer read it in the introductory chapter.
Now it could seem that using Light Table's “Instarepl" or Leiningen is indifferent in order to run the examples.

Here's what I've done:
- I've written instructions on the wiki about how to use Light Table, including how to "connect" to a project to get its dependencies. (No need to use Leiningen.)
- Removed the documentation for Light Table from the book and instead said "if you don't want to use Leiningen, you can find other options on the wiki".
