Another class of keyboard shortcut could be for adding subrecords to an existing top-level record type.

These are not all relevant for all record types. Shortcut should only work if the current record allowed for that subrecord type. Should only work in edit mode.

There are more subrecord types that could be included, but obvious letter choices would start to overlap, so maybe not every subrecord type needs a shortcut.

One class of keyboard shortcuts could be for the creation of top-level record types: resources, accessions, digital objects, subjects, and agents. My suggestions:

In the "?" keyboard shortcut pop-up, the shortcuts for "Open 'Browse' menu" and "Open 'Create' menu" are listed as B and C respectively. While I that is technically correct - both Shift-b and B (with caps lock on) work, it would probably be clearer to leave them as the default Shift-b and Shift-c.

I think having shift precede opening menus is a good mnemonic, and distinguishes opening menus from the other navigation options, which move your focus on the screen rather than opening up something that isn't visible.

With that in mind, would it make sense to make "Shift - " (or | I guess) open up Advanced search?

I was surprised that ASpace already has some stock keyboard shortcuts - hitting ? in the staff app brings up a list. Would be good if the plugin added to that list.
