it does not loop, after rebooting i see it now but my taskbar is at the top of the screen and clock is at the bottom

The tob-bottom taskbar in windows 11 is buggy, try setting your taskbar to the top with registry and rebooting again:

when i first installed it the clock was at the top and then it "updated" and was gone. i am guessing it was there but at teh bottom the whole time but i have a large screen and do not look there
