I'm how searching for any information about this old chip of panasonic's semiconductor department, hope you can help me with this.

Since you did switch/cases based on some hardcoded ids, I guess you know a lot about the MN2WS series.
The chip I'm interested in is MN2WS0280. Specifically I'd like to now it's CPU core arch. I guess it may be AM34-SMP or something like that with mn10300 core, but it never hurts to know for sure ;)
If you have any pdfs with info about it, I would highly ($$) appreciate it!

btw i use arch also wrote u on your old panasonic email, but i consider it dead now (well, just like panasonic)
