Analytics Engine

An environment of open source application designed to collect, sample, and analyze market data.

What does this do?

This environment plan activates 3 services: PostgreSQL, n8n, and Metabase. n8n polls live market data and persists it to PostgreSQL. Metabase provides analytics, graph visualization, and dashboards.

How do I install it?

The easiest method is using docker compose with the minimal configuration. Read INSTALL.md for more information.

What are the basic commands I need to know?

Knowledge of SQL and the Docker API will be helpful.

Organizing stochastic analysis content

I have a ton of new material on Stocastic calculus, approximation, and averaging and other statistical methods that I need to sort through, and determine which materials belong together.

Settle on pedagogical method for #1

Content in #1 will get organized into categories somehow.

After this is done, how will I consume the content? What am I going to do to fill in gaps that I may have when I encounter them? Will I have to study the material rigorously, or can I get an intuition for best practices on plugging these mathematical methods into a numerical scenario without it.
