[FEATURE REQUEST] support for php7. 4^ versions about laravel-kafka HOT 3 CLOSED

Hi @AarifAbdal, no, currently i have no time available for rewrite this package for 7.4. It was built o solve an issue i had with kafka while working on big projects. I'm glad i'm able to help other peoples with this code, but adding php 7.4 support will take at least a week, time i don't have right now. Feel free to fork this project and release a new version with 7.4 support. I can help you if you have any issues, but it's something i can't prioritize right now. Thanks!

Hey @AarifAbdal, check this repo by @DBTK1990. He did basically everything you need to make it work with php 7.4, but i haven't tested it and don't know if it works.
If you want to start from scratch, you need to remove everything in this package that is compatible with php 8.0+ only, and replace with 7.4 syntax. As i said before, i will not add support for php 7.4 in this package, since it dont receive new features nor bug fixes, but security fixes only (and only until 2021-01-01).
