gimx-firmwares's Issues

error: ‘BYTE_TYPE_G920_XONE’ undeclared

I tried to compile "EMUG920XONE", but I could not compile with the error below.

Making EMUG920XONE:

  • atmega32u4
    emu.c: In function ‘handle_packet’:
emu.c:117:23: error: ‘BYTE_TYPE_G920_XONE’ undeclared (first use in this function)
    Serial_SendByte(BYTE_TYPE_G920_XONE);
    ^
emu.c:117:23: note: each undeclared identifier is reported only once for each function it appears in
    make: *** [emu.o] Error 1

The definition of "BYTE_TYPE_G920_XONE" is It does not appear to be in "adapter_protocol.h".
Could you please define it?

Pls add G29 or G920 PC Support

Hi!
Emulating a G27 works perfekt, I have used it for playing games with my old Formel Professional wheel and really like your software, but now there are games which have only support for G29 or G920. So I can't play them without remapping the g27 to a XBOX Controller (to mention a game for example Need for Speed Heat).
So please create a G29 PC or G920 PC firmware that allows to emulate one of those.
Thanks in advance!

PS: I have tried to use the G29 PS4 emulator (I know your website says that it won't work on PC) for PC, but it only tells me that no DS4 Controller is connected (I have no one).

PS4 authentication using private DS4 firmware dump

To control a PS4 with GIMX, if I understand correctly, I always need to connect a real DS4 to the PC.

However, in my case, I've dumped the firmware of my DS4 like fail0verflow did in 2018. I can use this with projects like GP2040-CE to authenticate to the PS4 without the need to connect a physical DS4.

I was wondering if it'd be difficult to integrate this functionality into GIMX. I suppose I could fork the EMUPS4 firmware and implement the authentication protocol? Can you confirm that this would be the correct way, and give me any hints or advice if you can think of anything?

Update here: maybe a better idea would be to implement this in the core GIMX software, rather than on firmware side. Many projects can serve as inspiration, e.g.
