What steps will reproduce the problem?
I parse a XML file (RSS) of the form

title

...
XPathExpression query =
XPathFactory.instance().compile("/rss/channel/item");
List lst = query.evaluate(document);
for(Object o: lst){
if(o instanceof Element){
Element current = (Element) o;
for(Object oo: XPathFactory.instance().compile("./enclosure").evaluate(current)){
}
}
}
}
If I tried to access to oo, it fails.
If I try to list Attributes, it fails.
If I use the query ./enclosure/@url, it fails
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
To get the attribute's value
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I think about a problem in the short tag handling ( open and close the tag <

I added xalan inside this project. But can you suggest me a way to upload it to github?
Hi, I hope this is a good place to ask this question.
So my situation is as follows:
I want to have an app running on android, which will be able to, say on a press of a button, execute some selenium code with the aim of controlling a web page in a browser on the phone. I need this to automate some common tasks in the browser we have in our workflow. And I know it might sound like there are easier ways to achieve this (like doing this on a desktop), but for our specific situation this is the way to go, if possible.
Now Selenium depends on xerces and when I try to build my project with selenium included in android studio, I get the following error:
From what I have gathered, the problem seems to be this: StackOverflow
So what I have done is downloaded the xerces-for-android jar from here: GitHub
I have then included it as a library in my project (placed it into libs and added that to my gradle build file), but I am still getting the same error. Can anyone help me with this task?
Thanks,
zx
Obfuscated and minimized APK with xerces-for-android has a smaller file size of
about 500KB. However, it throws run-time exception as some classes are loaded
dynamically by their names.
What would be the correct ProGuard configuration for xerces-for-android?

It would be nice to be able to download a packaged JAR instead of having to
check out the source and build the jar.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Adding xerces-for-android project in Build path of Android project
2. Calling the following code:
DocumentBuilderFactory factory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The following exception is thrown (see the attachment for complete stack trace):
FATAL EXCEPTION: main
mf.javax.xml.parsers.FactoryConfigurationError: Provider
com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl not found
at mf.javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance(DocumentBuilderFactory.java:146)
Please provide any additional information below.
Changing the string in line 144 in
mf.javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory.java from:
"com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl"
to:
"mf.org.apache.xerces.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl"
solves the problem.
