When cloning, the format /(link) does not work, because / navigates to the root directory of the website. A possible fix would be to use ./ format, but that would cause some weird things, e.g. ../../a.pdf
The news tab requires login, which goes against the point of the tab in the first place
I'm in the process of isolating the issue, but I couldn't find anything obvious and I am not the best at PHP, but this needs to be fixed, pretty urgent. I tested on localhost with the submodules cloned and tested.
