This is an implementation of the Mixed Messages project from Codeacademy Full-Stack Engineer track. (https://www.codecademy.com/paths/full-stack-engineer-career-path/tracks/fscp-javascript-syntax-portfolio-project/modules/fscp-mixed-messages/kanban_projects/mixed-messages) It is implemented using Node.js

Process:

  • Read a file (sourceText.txt) into a String buffer
  • Parse the String buffer into an array of sentences, using String.split('\n\n')
  • Randomly select three sentences from the array of sentences
