Certain hats have misspelled texture IDs

Some old hats and other assets have broken texture IDs in the ROBLOX catalog, causing them to appear grey in-game rather than being textured.

This hat's texture ID currently is "http://www.roblox.com/asset/?id= 36870591", and it is broken because of the space in between the = and the actual ID.

This hat is broken as well for the same reason as the previous.

Chrisrblx recently posted that http://www.roblox.com/The-Christmas-Creep-item?id=42067245 has a broken texture, I can confirm it is for the same reason previously listed.

There might be more items that are broken like this that I am not aware of so a check is probably necessary.

Hats with a larger size prevent the player from walking correctly

If you wear two to three hats of large size together, such as the newly created "Pilgrim dolphin" and the "BiggerHead", they prevent you from walking correctly, as their weight is more than average.

Steps are:

  1. Put the accoutrement on your character
  2. Join any game
  3. Walk side-to-side, only repeatedly pressing the a, w, and d keys.

You will notice that you are unable to make a perfect looped semi-circle while walking. You will occasionally walk sideways while executing step 3. While replicating and performing this bug myself, I noticed that it only works if I'm in a game with a large amount of parts. Such as a largely detailed construction.

4 Hats have an extra Handle in the model, 2 Hats dont contain a hat instance, 2 Hats aren't hats [Hat] [Enchancement] [Bug]

(These hats are not catagorized by roblox as test hats; the list would be a lot longer.)

Expand to include all of assets by Roblox

Can this be expanded to include issues with any of roblox's assets (namely, hats)? My tracker has this issue which doesn't fit any of the tag criteria. I figure that adding a new tag for roblox assets would be redundant, since this tracker already exists.

There's also this issue, which I'm not even sure what it counts as.

Certain hat placements are broken

Whenever someone wears this hat, it appears in the player's torso instead of properly on their head.

Upon further inspection it appears that the problem is that the hat's mesh has an offset of 0,-1,0. Changing to this 0,0,0 fixes the issue.

I believe SpecialMeshes were recently updated to properly display a mesh's offset (this property has been broken for a long time), hence why this is occurring now.

Stamper clone tool breaks after being dropped

"Recently while building in my PBS server. I've came across a bug that deals with the Cloning tool. If you press backspace and drop the clone tool, then pick it back up. You are unable to clone anymore parts, even if you deselect it into your inventory and re-select it again. The only way to fix this problem is by resetting your character or leaving the server.

Steps:

  1. Create a personal build server on the develop navigation.
  2. Once you create the personal build server, enter the game.
  3. Wait till you've fully loaded in game.
  4. Take out your stamper tool and place down an item/block/part. ( Doesn't work with the High end parts).
  5. Once you've placed down an item of your choice, take out the cloning tool.
  6. Hit backspace ( in which makes the tool drop).
  7. Pick up the cloning tool you've dropped.
  8. Move your mouse/cursor over the part you've placed down.
  9. Notice how you aren't able to clone the item anymore.
  10. Reset player to make the tool work again.

Regular Carpet is completely broken

In the gear Regular Carpet there is a line that loads an asset using InsertService:

The problem is that the asset it's trying to load is not made by ROBLOX and normally isn't owned by the place owner. This causes the asset to never get loaded because of the restrictions of InsertService.

The error as seen from the output:

24 Mistyped Hat/Gear Textures [Hat] [Gear] [Bug]

The problem is the TextureId of the mesh contains a space before the Id.
Ex: "http://www.roblox.com/asset/?id= 16659297"

Please note the following;
If the TexturId is "http://www.roblox.com/asset/?id= 16659297" it would be listed above, if it was "http://www.roblox.com/asset/?id=16659297 " it will not be listed due to the fact that there are TONS of TextureId's with a space(s) following the Id.
In every instance i believe the space was immediately before the id.
Only the textures for all of the hats and gears were checked. (Aug 4 2015)
I may check other things such as packages for this problem in the future.

Hat visibility glitch

As shown in the picture, there is a hat listed as "Gnome" which isn't visible on the character's head while worn in-game. It does not appear on the site, either. It seems to have been an issue for a while now, because I've owned the hat since 2012, and the glitch has still been occurring. Many people have also been requesting that someone fixes this in the comments of the hat.

Banjo & Others can Crash Servers & Cause Other clients to upload extreme amounts of data.

Clicking fast enough (around 1000 clicks per second) will cause EXTREME lag on a server through multiple methods.

Everyone in the area will be uploading tons of data. I assume this is through distributed physics. Clients will upload a LOT of data.

The server itself is under heavy strain.

How to fix: Set a cooldown on various guitar gear so they can't spam too many notes.

Motorcycles can be used to fly

  1. Equip Ro-torcycle or Hallowcycle
  2. Repeatedly spam the hotkey + space to fly

The cool thing is, when you stop you will be frozen in midair

Dual Gravity Coils can be used to fly

Reproduction steps:

  1. Equip the coils and jump
  2. Just as you reach your peak, double-tab the gear's hotkey and immediately after press space
  3. Wait until you reach the peak of your jump again and repeat

HyperBike can go through parts

As you can see i can go right through parts using the hyperbike
by equiping and dequiping plus jumping all at the same time.

This should be fixed because users could use this at their advantage to get through vip things and stuff.
