This Terraform Starter has been created to bootstrap your PHP project (Symfony, Laravel, Api Platform, or whatever ...) with Terraform and quickly build a local Docker stack. Lambda deployment is optimized to be close to the AWS free tiers (lambda/DynamoDB).

tf-starter's Issues

Add Database integration

Add a database integration with RDS, and local containers for local stack.

Todo:

  • Add RDS integration
  • Add local mysql integration
  • Add local postgres integration
  • Update the documentation

Add an EC2 integration

Add an EC2 integration for websites. Only a Lambda version is available for now with Bref.sh layer.

Todo:

  • Create an EC2 integration
  • Update the documentation

Improve ES section

Improve ES section by adding more tests on this integration and proposing 2 kinds of installation: aws style, and official with ec2.

Todo :

  • Improve ES documentation section
  • Double check aws integration of elastic search terraform
  • Add an official version of elastic search in an EC2 instance

Better module integration

Module integration could be improve with modules and submodules.

For now we have just subfolders of "terraform" with contents as self managed projects. It can be painful to reuse that kind code in other architectures.

Todo :

  • Split content by service
  • Use terraform/examples/* subfolders to suggest integrations as samples, based on modules created elsewhere (in terraform/modules for example).
  • Update the documentation

CI examples

Add CI samples for common CI tools.

Todo:

  • Add an example for Github
  • Add an example for Gitlab
  • Add an example for Travis
  • Add an example for CircleCI
  • Upgrade the documentation

Certificate management

Manage certificates, self signed and officials with route 53.

Todo:

  • Manage self signed certificates
  • Manage certificates withn route 53
  • Update the documentation

Add DynamoDB storage

Todo:

  • Create DynamoDb integration
