Sorry for getting back this late to the issue, it's not on my radar.
Currently, gitdub reads the configuration once and it remains immutable afterwards. This is only a technical limitation, though, and could be changed. We could do it like make
by simply polling the file modification time at a configurable granularity, say every minute by default. (I haven't really done any research if there's a builtin mechanism to this even easier in Ruby.)
Would such polling suffice for you needs?

You can now add monitor: 42
to your configuration in the gitdub
section to check the configuration file for changes every 42 seconds. All parameters except for bind
, port
, and ssl
can now be adjusted without restarting the gitdub process.
