Design a “*flatten*” algorithm using DFT
A flatten algorithm for the bound hash tree would let us construct a binary hash tree from the ground up.
Possible advantages of using said binary hash tree (maybe?):
- Faster comparisons (?)
- Less chance of root hash collisions (?)
👆 this needs looking into!
This could probably be done using depth-first traversal.
Subdirectories: metadata is not hashed
The name and mode of subdirectories is not taken into consideration when it should be.
File-children seem to be working fine.
