A Keycloak theme based on Material Design

Overview

This is an incomplete Keycloak login theme, based on Material Design. The theme uses the Material Web Components library for UI controls. Currently, this theme styles the "login", "register", and "forgot password" screens. More layouts may be included in the future depending on demand.

Installation

  1. Download or clone this repository
  2. Copy the material directory in this repository to <your-keycloak-installation>/themes/material
  3. Start or restart your Keycloak server.
  4. Log into your Keycloak server's Administration Console. Select the material theme by navigating to Realm Settings → General → Themes → Login Theme.

Issue with autocomplete

Thanks for the theme!

I have an issue with Chrome and autocomplete. This is beyond my css knowledge and driving me nuts. I'm adding a screenshot below.

For some reason the autofill internal chrome css preempts everything else and it overlays on top of the label and the border and it doesn't look very good.

I tried various things such as forcing the background color to transparent (not working) moving the input downwards using zindex (prevents the click form working...). Any idea?
