Spelling with Elements

Spell out a word using the elements on the periodic table! Featured on VSauce (DONG)!

What?

This little website will take any word and try to spell it out using the symbolic names of the elements on the periodic table. Clicking on each element will bring you to their respective Wikipedia page.

Enhancement for displaying the elements

Hi again,

I just finished to make some js code for dispaying the elements a better way. You can have a look here :

It's only JavaScript, HTML and CSS. I take the information about the elements from another git (this one https://github.com/Bowserinator/Periodic-Table-JSON/blob/master/PeriodicTableJSON.json).

I'll probably try to make a Pull request tonight.

Periodic table source

Hi! First of all, I really like the project you're working on.

But that's not really what my question is about. I'd like to know how you got all that Periodic Table data and if I'm allowed to use it.

Multiple possibilities

Hi,
There are some words that could be written by different ways.
For example, words which contains "co" can be written with Co (cobalt) or C (carbon) and O (oxygen).
It will be great if the website show all the possibilities.

Hi. Sorry to have to tell this through a issue but GitHub has no longer private messages.
