Summary
1. Requirements
ffmpeg
To install:
sudo apt install ffmpeg
.bashrc
or .zshrc
2. Adding vid2gif to - Open the
.bashrc
or the.zshrc
file (depending on which one you use); - Paste the following code at the end:
alias vid2gif="~/PATH_TO_THE_SH_FILE/vid2gif/vid2gif.sh"
3. Running Vid2GIF
It's simple, just open the terminal and type:
vid2gif INPUT_VIDEO.mp4 GIF_TO_BE_OUTPUTED.gif
First argument: the name of the existing video file.
Second argument: the name of the gif that will be outputed.
