Checking your line number, I take it you're using version 0.30, which is the latest published version, can you confirm that?
You can check the version number using mimeinfo -v
And checking the path you use, you're probably using the OS installed packages.
Can you also state which OS you're using? That would maybe allow me to replicate this easily.

mimeopen -v is giving me version 0.30
mimeinfo is not available on my system
Package I am using is perl-file-mimeinfo v0.30-1
OS is Arch Linux

I can confirm this. This message was there since the last update. I'm using the same version and OS.
