Use threading or multiprocessing to make a queue for items instead of running each step of nightlink.py, for example, synchronously. Each item should go through the whole sync process independently instead of each process running in order (metadata retrieval, image pushing, etc) on the whole list of items.

As it stands the entire queue could get stalled because of some individual problem at the end, even though the rest of the queue might be totally fine.
