gltf-rhino's Issues

How to represent shared meshes?

Should meshes that are used more than once in the glTF (for example, wheels on a car) be created as Rhino blocks or just duplicate meshes?

How to represent different scenes in Rhino?

When a glTF model is imported to Rhino, how are different scenes represented? A scene could potentially reuse nodes. At first I thought it could be different layer structures, with nested layers representing the heirarchy. Scenes sound more like Layer States in Rhino, where the glTF structure is represented as nested layers, and different layer states represent different scenes.

Access in grasshopper?

Is there a way to access this function in Grasshopper, or python script or c# script?

Export available?

Looking to export from Rhino to glTF. I currently only need to export geometry.

Thank you

Appropriately apply parent transforms to children.

The way the scene hierarchy is traversed needs to be reconsidered prior to the addition of objects to the Rhino model. This will allow for the appropriate application of parent transforms on children.

glTF import/export support for Grasshopper?

Is it possible to adapt your current work for Rhino into a python component for Grasshopper?
I specifically want to use Grasshopper to batch import .vxm files and export .gltf files.
