blender's Issues

Not compatible with Firefox 57

With the update of Firefox 57 this addon has become a legacy addon which can no longer be activated.
Which means it no longer works in any capacity.

Blender for mobile firefox?

Hi there!

Since mobile firefox becomes rather heavily used (50 000 000-100 000 000 installs and over 1 million of good ratings!) and it's possible to install Blender addon in it. How about adding some mobile headers, while used in mobile browser? I'd love to use it on my phone, but it always gives me the desktop version of a website, which is rather unreadable most of the time on a small phone screen.

Cheers!

Exception while firefox startup

While startup Firefox-41.0.2 prints in console:
1445590359012 addons.xpi WARN Exception running bootstrap method startup on [email protected]: TypeError: preferences.setStringPref is not a function (resource://gre/modules/addons/XPIProvider.jsm -> jar:file:///home/user/.mozilla/firefox/uu9mytgh.default/extensions/[email protected]!/bootstrap.js:123:4) JS Stack trace: c.prototype.enable@resource://gre/modules/addons/XPIProvider.jsm -> jar:file:///home/user/.mozilla/firefox/uu9mytgh.default/extensions/[email protected]:123:4 < c.prototype.start@resource://gre/modules/addons/XPIProvider.jsm -> jar:file:///home/user/.mozilla/firefox/uu9mytgh.default/extensions/[email protected]:153:3 < startup@resource://gre/modules/addons/XPIProvider.jsm -> jar:file:///home/user/.mozilla/firefox/uu9mytgh.default/extensions/[email protected]:173:2 < [email protected]:4657:9 < [email protected]:2376:13 < [email protected]:221:12 < [email protected]:828:5 < [email protected]:999:9 < [email protected]:2672:5 < [email protected]:58:7

Whitelist

There are certain sites, such as addons.mozilla.org, that I would like to allow to see my proper UA string. I think that a whitelist would be an immensely useful addition for convenience on trusted sites.

description is wrong about vimeo requiring flash

just discovered blender and the description wrongly depicts vimeo as being flash based.
I got rid of flash many years ago and have been watching video on vimeo without issue for years, please fix this description as it make blender looks bad.

Option to decide the OS

I don't want websites to think that most of their users use Windows, I want that websites think that most of their users use GNU/Linux. I know that this is not what really happen, but I don't want to hide my OS (which may do that some websites forget about GNU/Linux and focus on Windows based on their visits). That's why I'd like this option.

Update to support MultiProcess?

Hello, i really like your addon but currently its not compatible with the new firefox multiprocess, do you think its possible to update it? Thanks.

Dirty uninstall

I installed this on my phone and then disabled because I want going to use it yet, but I was still getting only the desktop versions of websites even when the options were unchecked. So I uninstalled the extension, but that didn't do anything.

[feature request] Toggable OS spoofing

Some websites change depending on what OS the client is running. Blender puts Windows in the User Agent string so on those sites the experience is broken if you run Linux or Macs. It would be desirable, in my opinion, to leave minimal information about the OS in the User Agent string e.g. just "Linux" instead of "Ubuntu; Linux". The most common version on the given platform could also be used.
