A P3D file is obtained after compressing a mesh using MEPP. I just try to decompress this P3D file and then compare compression rates(bits per vertex) at each different LoDs, but it crashed. How can I obtain corresponding compression rates ?

I tried to compile under ubuntu 16.04, but I got an error at start when I run it.
Here is the log :

I only need it for MSDM2 metric for performance evaluation of my research, is there other implementation easier to use (without graphical interface, like command line or library)?

I just wanted to try mepp to work with a mesh that I have. I exported it from Rhino to .obj and when I tried to open it, mepp consistently crashed.

The same also happens with a different .obj file.
