Whoa! Good catch. My example didn't have a parent element so I never noticed that. It turns out that the issue had to do with the way I was parsing through the remote file content. I asked for some help on Stack Overflow and someone was able to help me. Here is my question if you're interested:
I've fixed the issue now though, so please download the latest copy and try again.
