Abode

Abode is a DIY home automation system that aims to leverage off the shelf hardware to create an automated home.

Requirements

The modules within Abode are designed to work with the following hardware:

  • Raspberry Pi
  • iOS 8+
  • Wireless Access Point

Modules

Modules run HA nodes or provide an interface to your network.

Chat

An XMPP Bonjour node that allows you to send commands to the HA node. Use this with XMPP Bonjour compatible chat clients eg. Apple Messages

Mobile

A iOS App that allows controls HA nodes.

Contribution

Pull requests are most welcome.

Protocol Git flow is utilised to manage ongoing unstable development and stable releases. Please add tests where appropriate.
