awesome-games-of-coding's Issues

Other entries

How about kid games (or casual games) like LightBot, Bee-Bot, Cato's Hike etc., and in general, what's the scope of this collection? I guess 'teach you a programming language' and 'teach you programming' aren't the same goals. On one end of the spectrum there are games that teach commercially successful languages while playing, and on the other, games whose mechanics are inspired by coding such as Recursed which was inspired by functional progamming. There's a lot of room for teaching programming via games, and teaching a mainstream language with that sounds like a niche as the real focus could be on teaching concepts, e.g. in functional programming, linear algebra, or programming behaviors.

Fix 'Buy a Sticker'

Describe the bug
The link redirects to an unknown page

Expected behavior
Redirects to the correct link

Additional context
Need to check what's the desired output on the awesome template github.

Could I do some changes in the list?

I love your README.md . But I want to sort and added more categories. The first, I want to separate the "open source" games and "close source" game in two list into this file. And add other things.

Does it sound good for you?

Regards.

Remove 'chat on glitter' button

Describe the bug
Remove the 'chat o nglitter' button because there's no one on glitter.

Expected behavior
When I open the page I do not want to see the button.

Categories based on languages?

Nice list but it might be useful to categorize it based on languages...? E.g. I want to look for front-end coding games, but there's no easy to see all of them other than doing CTRL-F on the page and looking for keywords.

Check if the links are working

Describe the bug
Check if the links of the games are working

To Reproduce
Need to click on each one to see if there's broken links

Expected behavior
All the links should open the game website

Update table of contents

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Update the table of contents with a simpler way to see the games.

Two questions

  1. Since when did the list become half-awesome? :3
  2. Even the issue tracker asks to read the guidelines for contributing, which don't say anything about issues.
