Perhaps it will be clearer for delegates to say in step 4di - create the gen. prod. posting group for computerhw.. then click set up to create 3 combinations - one with gen. bus. posting group blank, one with domestic and one for international, and then fill in the required fields..

Instructions as provided in the lab are out of date. Current instructions when followed leave participants in a loop of new tabs when the Try for free link is clicked.

I would suggest that the URL be modified to the Business Central Sign In page and have the participants click on Sign In with lab hosting provider credentials. This ensures that they can complete the process of sign up for the Business Central trial while avoiding the aforementioned loop.

4. When you try to create a new item there is no "Allow Payment Export" box to select.

this is supposed to be a guided lab for students to learn. the quality of the lab is very poor, just a set of steps without minor explanation of any of them and without any comment on why we do things this way.

I am an MCT instructor and I have done many labs recently PL-900 and DA 100 and they were very good explained. It is really frustrating to find this poor material as an official lab from Microsoft on such an important product like business central

I can see that the Instructions in Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant are confusing in certain areas.

Example Chart of Accounts No. 10450 account asks us to map under Accounts receivable from the 'Instructions' section but On the Chart of accounts page, No. 15000 starts the Accounts receivable.

###This lab experience is terrible for learners:

• The instructions are often not clear - the steps are often not in line with what appears on screen in the updated UI. It's confusing learners and they struggle to navigate around the application - they then can only focus on the aspect of navigating around, with frustration, which then impacts them also in the way they learn about what the exercise is actually trying to teach them.

• the numbering is often askew as well... when asking learners to repeat the previous steps in most cases, that numbering does not match.

• often when you have a lot of steps within a task, it's confusing to have them listed as a-b-c-d, because it is not easy to tick off what you have done - and therefore easy to miss a step.

we previously create a customer manually (module 3 exercise 1 and step 1) with numeric series CWEB and name: Generic EU web shop .

when we export the excel file this customer is included.

from the screenshot provided in the exercise the customer list has numeric series of C0001/2/3..
the screenshot also ignores the previously created customer and there is no mention in the guided steps whether this is intentional or should we keep the previously created one or delete it.

• Exercise 2 - errors on step 5 - post the general journal
• Exercise 3 - There is no rapidstart package provided as part of the lab, only excel / errors on step 2f
• Exercise 4: the name of the vendor does not exist, attempted to run with V9005, but unable to process payment journals due to errors. the records do not hold the required information.
• Exercise 5: step1 is ok, step 2 process pyament registrations - unable to carry out as the documents referenced in this step are not present in the lab environment
