Create Inventory System

We need to create an inventory system that allows specific actions.
The following spec is needed:

  • Store Items
  • Use Items
  • Items trigger Dialogue
  • Items trigger Signals
  • Items affect story

Create Menu

This allows users to start the game, quit and select settings.

New Feature: End Game Mini games

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The mini-games the player must beat have not been completed.

Describe the solution you'd like
3 mini-games will be playable:

  1. Code Cracker - input the password. Depending on if you earned certain items in the game will determine how long it takes to crack the code.
  2. Securtiy Shuffle - Take out any guards in the building
  3. Install the bomb and take out the nuke.

Depending on the characters you selected will determine the final result.

What resources are needed(Art,Music,etc.)

  • Scenes: Mini Games
  • Security Officer Sprites
  • Tutorial dialogic menus
  • Ending / return to main menu
  • Credits

Additional context
This is the last piece in making the game playable.

New Feature: End Game Report

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
We need to generate an end of game report for player providing them stats on their play through.

Describe the solution you'd like
The player must know the following:

  • Did the player get detected from hacking the door? If so, send player to the guards.
  • Did the player kill any guards?
  • Did the nuke go off? did it get disarmed?
  • Roll Credits & return to the menu.

What resources are needed(Art,Music,etc.)

  • The scene needs the data from the previous scene.

Additional context
This is purely an enhancement. The feature at a minimum can be a new style report stating the end game.

Implementation of Engineer Creation

Character Julius can create a power saw if the player has purchased 3 items copper wires, a circular saw, and a battery.
A signal needs to be sent after the items are purchased to activate this event.

Store Features must be removed

Describe the bug
The dialog for the game has options for the following:

  • Buy
  • Sell
  • Cash

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Abilities to do this are in timelines. There are no store options implemented due to being out of scope.

Expected behavior
There should be no store options.

Please remove dialog options. Story rewrite might be needed

Add Background System

We need to be able to select backgrounds. I'm not sure if this needs to be modified via dialogic 8 or if we can move to 9. Commits are being made daily with 9. Hopefully, it's more stable soon.

The dialog system needs signals

Currently, there is no way to interact with the dialog system. If a character selects an option you can change the timeline but the data is not exposed to the rest of the engine.

Create Navigation Scene

This is a basic navigation scene that allows the player to navigate to different areas on the map.
