Add Chef

The player must tell the the chef to cook the request meal.

Implementation

  • Create buttons so the player can click or hit a key to input an order
  • The chef starts cooking the meal (Different foods take different times).
  • Food will not automatically be populated. Once the chef makes a meal it will appear on the counter for the player to pick up

New Assets

  • Chef (Cooking, Idle)
  • Counter

Variables

  • Cook Time
  • Max Counter Slots

Implement New Wave

On the new wave the following nodes are affected:

Player

  • Player gets a 10% speed boost

Guest

  • Wait time down 25%

Chef

  • Cook time down 5%

Add Music

At a minimum the following sfx/music is req'd:

  • Background
  • Chef x 2 ( order up / I got it. )
  • Cooking sounds (Fire, drinks pouring, pots & pans)
  • positive delivery
  • negative delivery
  • Game Over
  • Next Wave

Create Tutorial

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
There is a lack of a tutorial. I only know how to play the game since I created it.

Describe the solution you'd like
2/3 image tutorial explaining movement, buttons, etc.

Additional context
Ensure translations for ENG, ES, FR is setup.

Add Graphics

Replace protoype art with actual art for the following items:

  • Background
  • Tables
  • Chairs
  • Counter
  • Plates
  • Characters (Guests, Waitress)

Player is scaling weird

Describe the bug
The player is a 16x16 sprite which is set to scale x2 on each axis. currently it scales x2 on the x & 3 times on the y.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
This happens automatically when the game runs.

Expected behavior
Player should scale 1:1 * 2

Desktop (please complete the following information):
Godot 3.2

Player can clear mutliple objects

Currently the player can pick up multiple plates. Currently that is not how our game should play.

Correct Behavior

  • If the player has food:
  • do not clear / changer current food.
