When setting up the project, I recognized there were some commands missing. It was all easy to fix, but I propose adding it to the readme:

• When opening http://127.0.0.1:8000 I got an error from Django 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'get_absolute_url' because there are no questions in the database. To add them:
  • ./manage.py createsuperuser
  • Navigate to http://127.0.0.1:8000/admin/polls/question/ and add some questions

Also, the base.html includes js from core/js/vendor.js and index.js. These are not in the repo by default, but must be created via npm run-script build. Then the app works as expected at http://127.0.0.1:8000

Let me know if you'd like me to open a PR to fix that.

But actually, I'd be interested in whether there is a way to get hot reloading of the React components being displayed by Django? After npm start, I have hot reloading at http://localhost:7001/ but changes only propagate to the Django side after an npm run-script build
