I like this firebase comment plugin (firebase-jekyll-comments
) but unfortunately I could not understand its steps.
please can you also paste some snapshots or Video that might help me to understand these steps.

I noticed that on the demo & my own implementation, comments are sorted differently when you are logged in / out.

As seen here, when logged out, comments are in the right order (the markdown comment is from yesterday & "test derp" is the most recent).

For some reason, the supplied security rules keep throwing permission denied errors whenever i try to push data to fb. I ended up using this as a stopgap:

It's not perfect, but it's simple & at minimum, you need to have a token. I tried all of the following:

".write": "auth != null && (!data.exists() || !newData.exists())"
".write": "auth != null && !data.exists()"
".write": "auth != null && !newData.exists()"

but they each throw the same error in my browser console:
