FAQ

My game uses my default mods folder

  • Delete the Mine in Abyss profile and reinstall it with our launcher.
  • On Linux, Flatpak users should make sure the Minecraft launcher has access to ~/.mineinabyss (you may need to allow access to the entire home directory.)

launchy's Issues

feat: Add dependency-check or dependencyUrl

Some mods require another to be enabled, for example First Person depends on Not Enough Animations

Make the dependency either toggle the same as main one, or probably better is to have a dependencyUrl(s) to add to in that mod.

feat(publish): Make installer portable.

I was unsure if this modpack installer is really requiring the user to install the modpack installer with admin privileges.
If possible, the exacutable could either allow you to either launch straight to the main screen without install or something similar.

Agreements

  • I have searched for and ensured there isn't already an open issue regarding this.
  • I have ensured the feature I'm requesting isn't already in the latest supported Paper build.

I urge anyone who has any good mod ideas not listed to please add them to this list, I am only 1 person and have very likely missed an amazing mod

Option to copy over settings/servers files into .mineinabyss

There may also be other files that would be useful to copy over.

This should be an option beyond just the first install and should probably be in some sort hidden dropdown or advanced mode. On first install we could probably prompt whether they want to copy settings over as well since that's when most people would want to do it.
