Milestone 3 feedback

Milestone 3 grade 14/15

-1 point lost because it wasn't quite clear what information was being passed around during the network inspector portion of the demo.

Milestone 4 Feedback

Milestone 4 score 14/15

-1 point lost because the most recent version of milestone4.md did not have images embedded into it.

Please keep in mind the course policy for no late work for the md file submission. The submissions are due before 12 pm on the due date. I pulled the most recent version of the file from before 12 pm, which didn't have embedded images, but luckily still had the rest of the information.

Additional Feedback (no deductions):

I recommend diversifying and potentially adding another feature to the app. Personally, the two features that your team demo'd last week feel like they could be the interaction flow of one complete feature (searching and adding), so I recommend adding some additional functionality that the user can perform in your app.

On your final slide

For the final slide in the final.md, could your team please re-link your slide in edit mode, instead of presentation mode? I'm unable to copy your slide into the final presentation.

Milestone 1 Feedback

Your idea seems pretty good for allowing youtubers an alternate method for securing sponsorships. I think using given metrics from each youtuber as a measure of their effectiveness as sponsors is a pretty novel idea, but I'd suggest doing some research into youtube sponsorships to make sure that this isn't how directly applying for a sponsorship from some company would be. While I think the youtube api is a good start, I'm curious on how your group is planning on enumerating the list of companies that need advertising. Furthermore, more fleshed out search features outside of just direct searching could extend the functionality (perhaps utilizing youtube's tags or making your own tagging system could ease navigation).

I think your first storyboard is a bit too text heavy, and doesn't completely show the effect that the additional advertising has for the salesperson. This effect is more directly shown in the second storyboard, with the user being able to finance his channel with the sponsorship.

I think your paper prototypes are fine in showing interaction flow and achieving the goal of connecting youtubers with advertisers, but I would like to remind your team that you are developing a web app, not a mobile app, and thus your designs should be based around computer screens instead. However, I think most of the interface should be transferable, and you'll probably have some additional space to work with.
