Do you plan to implement it?

At least on android 11 split apk's are not shown.
Does anyone know the current status of autostarts vs split apk's ?

For my own use i created workaround using aapt so that split apk's work again.

i cant find the event about an NFC card is detected. i have one app that i want to disable here which hasnt got a disable option itself. could you add this?

First of all, big thanks for the app, it's a really good app to understand some of the Android machinery, as well as actually control some of it.

The question of this issue is -- would it make sense to make a "release" here on github? It would then be picked by F-Droid, which will allow re-building it.
The last F-Droid build was a very, very long time ago https://f-droid.org/wiki/page/com.elsdoerfer.android.autostarts and the build itself is even considered "incorrect" by F-Droid client. Hence the "DisabledAlgorithm", "KnownVuln" badges.
Therefore it no longer even appears on the app list, and in search: https://f-droid.org/packages/#q=autostarts

Please help adding it back by making a release?

What's the difference? How to restore the status?

Not always disabled rule is highlighted

Removing one event trigger for an app removes all the triggers for that app.

For example, disabling After startup for an app will also disable Connectivity changed for that same app.

Is this by design, or is it a bug?

Otherwise, beautiful and clean open-source app... thanks!

Despite the app works perfect on HTC Hero 2.2, it is absolutely nonfunctional on Sony Xperia S 4.03

Hi there,
just upgraded one of my devices from Oreo to Pie - LineageOS, clean install.
According to some playstore reviews - and my own experience after upgrading - Autostarts doesnt work on Android 9.
So is this still actively maintained? Any way to fix that? Would be greatly appreciated ;)

I thought that giving a bad review on the store after years of using this as one of the essential apps (on every of my rooted devices) was a bit of a dick move, so instead I opened this issue...

So there's one receiver for android.intent.action.BOOT_COMPLETED: "com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup/.schedules.BootReceiver"

Autostarts displays the Titanium Backup entry in "After Startup" as "com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup" and when showing its details it displays receiver name as "(no-name)" and is also unable to work with it properly because it tries to perform any operations on "'com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup/(no-name)'" which of course doesn't exist.

When I disable this receiver manually (in shell), then the state in Autostarts still doesn't show it's disabled (even after reload, or relaunch of Autostarts)

Similar issue affects other actions where Titanium Backup appears such as "Application Installed" (android.intent.action.PACKAGE_ADDED) etc.

Sometimes when I click on a rule of startup of an app in the list, Autostarts does not react on touch, so menu where you disable/enable rules does not appear

some annoying apps have tens of entries

Example: when I press Disable for the trigger After Startup for some QR Scanner app, Autostarts will disable it, but to the right it will show this rotating circle also for many other apps (like the Browser or the DAV sync app and a few more) and apparently disable the trigger for them as well.

Is this expected behavior?

On my phone (running CM10), Auto starts fails to request root access and simply attempts to disable/enable anyways, which obviously fails, and annoyingly tells me I need root access when I most certainly do.

• How about publish a compiled apk on this releases page, as does MuntashirAkon on his releases page?

• Maybe it would make most sense to supply your compiled apk(s) here at ../packages rather than ../releases?

Since there are many new ways of getting root, eg. Systemless SuperSU, Magisk. And many users on Play Store reported root not being detected the detection system should be updated as well.

Or perhaps an option to force root use would be a workaround.?

In other words, did you publish this autostarts on F-Droid? Or did someone with Evil behavior did a fake release on F-Droid? I'm asking this for security prevention and before using the F-Droid release.

first excuse my english. Since Patch 1.9.1 (Lollipop 5.0 root access) Autostarts don't request root access at CM11 KitKat 4.4.4.

Reinstall doesn't affect only downgrade per Fdroid works for me. Other Apps like Adaway (Opensource&Github too) working fine.

Root can be obtained (other apps work fine and gain root as well), however getting SELinux denials for Autostarts, example for disabling Skype (check out the "avc: denied" line):

anyone wants to volunteer the viable fork of this extremely useful app?

I am getting a Error "unable to change the state", on Cyanogenmod 13.

I installed the app on Android 9 and it don't work.

I'm rooted with latest Magisk.
