dotfiles's Issues

Can this be run in WSL Arch Linux?

I did as the README.md instructed but it ended up with not prompt message at all
I add PS1="[\u@\h \W \A]\$" to my .bashrc file and sourced it but didn't work.
Another issue is that the vim I ran give me some weird characters on the control pallette (I don't know what it is called, but it should be clear from the image below, if I was wrong please point me out)

Anyway thx for the awesome files you shared, but I didn't get it working on my WSL and sincerely appreciate any help.

Thank you for ruining my system.

The safe_copy function is not safe at all, I tell you why. I mistakenly run the install.sh script twice, what that script did is to copy the .bashrc and .vimrc files to their correspondent *.bak files. the second time I run the script, it did the same thing. so what I now have is the same copy of .bashrc in both .bashrc and .bashrc.bak as well as for .vimrc, and I lost the my original copy. Didn't you count for this scenario. at least you have to check if the .bak file exists already, and create a .bakx copy while x is a number. this way that function will be truly safe, no matter how many times I run that script of bullshit. Any way, thank you for messing up my system.

Compatibility with MINGW

On Win7 running MINGW64 prompt inside of ConEmu.

Tinkered a bit with it trying to get it to work, but all it does is remove the prompt completely. I have python installed but I'm not much of a python guy to tell you if that is the issue or not.

Lacking in font department

This package heavily lacks in font department: using the font provided has special character related issues. Packages like Symfony CLI have strong table-like, colored output capabilities. With the font included, tables have no boundaries etc. The new glyphs introduced in this special font need to be placed in special address ranges, and not overwrite an address which is already occupied by a UTF-8 charset character. @mislam , please fix the font issue, otherwise this package becomes useless for devs who utilize terminal a lot.
