I have 3 questions about this:
FirebaseAuth.getInstance().getUid()
According to spec, getInstance() returns instance of the FirebaseAuth class, but the getUid not function in this class. But it works. How ?
It seems that getUid generates unique ID if this is a new user but it is not written in the spec. How does this function work?
When does it throw exception or return null ?
Thanks,
Alex
File google-services.json is missing
WindowManager is not recognized
error: package WindowManager does not exist
I did this project successfully but getting a error.
When i open my app, it asks for turn my GPS on, but even after turning it on, the app turns off.
I have to manually turn my GPS on/off to get it finally working.

Hi,
Where can I find the same code as in video ?
I choose a suitable branch but it is a bit different and lacks code snippets.
For example,
google_map_api.xml doesn't exist.
There are additional codes that you added online.
I also saw that you copied code and configuration from other GitHub link.
Thanks,
Alex
Hi,
There is a bug. Line 166 in the MainActivity.java: task.getResult() return null when task is successful.
import android.view.WindowManager; already exists in chatroom.activity
Hi,
I want to add to this application the following feature:
Filtering online users by radius in map and chatroom.
Could you tell me what relevant information will help me to do it ? I don't see that you do it on your code.
Thanks,
Alex
