Setting up the simulator

  • Software required:
    • Python 3.0 - 3.5 (3.6 will NOT work)
    • Upgrade pip to the latest version
      • python -m pip install --upgrade pip
    • numpy * python -m pip install -U pip setuptools
      • python -m pip install numpy
    • matplotlib
      • python -m pip install matplotlib
  • Download the following files:
    • gameboard.py
    • make_graph.py
    • player.py
    • card.py
    • ChanceCards.txt
    • CommunityChest.txt
    • Properties.txt
  • Run gameboard.py to generate the graphs

To do list:

  • Genetic Algorithm:
    • Add the fitness test
    • Add the crossover functions
    • Connect attributes of Player objects to Individuals; i.e. buying, selling, etc.
