quazip's Introduction

NOT MAINTAINED!! Use https://github.com/stachenov/quazip by the original author instead.

QuaZIP is the C++ wrapper for Gilles Vollant's ZIP/UNZIP package (AKA minizip) using the Qt framework.

Dependencies:

  1. zlib
  2. Qt 5

Building:

Building QuaZIP is super simple. Just open the terminal on your Mac/Linux or Command Prompt on Windows and type the following:

$ mkdir build && cd build
$ cmake .. -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=(Debug|Release) -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/path/to/install/QuaZIP
Notes for building on Windows:
We recommend you not to install QuaZIP in "Program Files" on Windows. We also recommend to use the NMake Makefiles generator if you are compiling with Visual Studio.

Documentation:

See doc/html or, if you do not have a browser, quazip/*.h and quazip/doc/* files for the more detailed documentation.

quazip's Issues

LGPL is little restrictive

I want to use this excellent library in my open source project which is under Apache 2.0. I want less restrictive that why choose Apache.

If I use LGPL it will force mine to license under same or use dynamically linking which is again a problem kind of.

If possible please make dual license along LGPL, use either MIT, APACHE, or BSD.
