Game crash

Hello, i have downloaded the v17 apk of csmoe. But when i enter a game, it crashes. I think its because some models or textures are not in the csbtem file. Can I ask where to download the latest and updated extra things that has been added in v17? Can you link them to me? I am trying to find it on this website but I failed. Anyone can help me link them?

Rename to CSMoE

Due to some copyright problems, we are going to rename this repo.
The new name will be CSMoE, which is the abbr of Counter-Strike Mobile-oriented Edition.
In addition, this repo will be no longer related to any CSBTE versions.

v15 bug

Feedback bug:
The biochemical model is better optimized than the previous version, and humans can resist zombies for a while, but it is still difficult to sustain because:
Some bots shoot with a pistol. Once the BOT has no bullets, you're faced with a group of zombies. When you're chased by a group of zombies, you don't have a chance to buy bullets.
The solutions are:
1, increase the firearm backup bomb;
2. Reduce the blood volume of zombies.
3, increase weapons damage or add new weapons or enhance the fight back.


Cataclysm bug:
1, kill a disaster zombie 50 gold coins, only enough to buy bullets;
2. Regeneration point problem, the official CS map is no problem, but the csol catastrophe map birthplace overlap, or NPC appears in the map wall can not enter, or retreat
3, the cataclysm of the cataclysm should be zombi_host instead of zombi_origin.
4. With the increasing number of Cataclysm monsters, the FPS frame rate of the game will decrease and become more and more stuck. It is suggested that the author change to the boss version.
Plus: The characters in the second round of the biochemical model will be unified. Personal speculation is that there is a problem with Adding Role Plug-ins. You can try to delete or modify it.

  • unintended player model change in next round of ZombieMod
  • low FPS in ZBS
  • ordered bullet hole on walls
  • weapons not removed in TDM and DM
  • reversed A B bomb position in some de_ maps
  • mouse not working after loading if switched out the current window
  • bot don't defuse the bomb ? (to be checked)
  • crash after rebuy sometimes
  • headname HUD draws all enemy in DM, which can be used to cheat

Make everything into static library

Suffering with code signing issues with on iOS, we should make the client, server, mainui, engine library into one output. There should be no more .dll, .dylib, .so, .framework, etc.
On the other hand, some ports, such as switchports/xash3d-switch , has already made it.

Can you add boss battle mode?

Hello, is it possible to add this mode?

Details: Please make a new gamemmode for a boss battle. Where there is only one Gigantic zombie or a big Monster or whatever it is and all humans try to kill it. If the boss killed a human,the humans dies and dont let it transform to a zombie. Make it not possible to respawn. If you can..try to make the boss huge, and has different powers, and run a little bit fast(but dont let it catch up to human easily), and make it to have alot of Hp so that it tooks 2-4 minutes of shooting to kill the boss. This is actually an exciting mode to me. So what do you think of this?

Please add this mode, because it is very popular. This should made your mod more famous in xash3d mobile community. We can also give you our map if it's needed.

1.自动添加bot人数不平衡(比如我设置bot quota为9,加完就变成我方4人,敌方6人,甚至全部加到敌方)
2.死亡后落地武器永远不会消失,堆积在地图中,影响帧率
3.团队模式计分板比分下方人数框边框消失只剩字
4.希望复活加入选枪界面,或者自动购买死前装备也行
5.希望加入复仇图标,增添快感

VGUI2 support

We are going to make CSMoE work with GoldSrc VGUI2, which means a specialized client with VGUI2, GameUI, ServerBrowser just like the legacy CSBTE will be provided.
Windows only... maybe it's hard to port them.

Stay with C++11

Since Xash3D is stuck in legacy GCC-based NDK, C++14 code CANNOT be compiled.
Tempory solution is continuing using C++11 standard.
It means the following feature is disabled:

[HCI] Vibrate when Fire / Hit

iPhone has tapic engine that can provide with some feedback. And maybe it can be triggered when weapon firing / being hit to improve interaction.

Bot can't defuse the bomb

I'm playing original mode and seeing bots can't defuse the bomb,

and I see a lot of immovable terrorists in cs_assault and other maps

i think you are really focusing on zombie mode so the original mode gets damaged

CBaseEntity and its derived object's deconstructor never called

When we create an entity (by CREATY_NAMED_ENTITY, etc), the engine calls an "C"-export function in mp.dll whose name is the intended pev->classname. And that function calls new CAK47, etc, which will both alloc memory and call the constructor CAK47().
However, when we remove an entity (by RemoveEntity, FL_KILLME, etc), the engine will only free memory, without calling its deconstructor ~CAK47(). Then we some classes especially with STL members will cause memory-leak.

In order to avoid it, I have restricted any derived class from CBaseEntity should have trivially deconstructor aka std::is_trivially_destructible, so that it doesn't matter if deconstructor is never called.

However, it brings lots of inconvenience to coding. Maybe calling virtual ~CBaseEntity() in func OnFreeEntPrivateData() in cbase.cpp will help...

I am not quite good at C++, and need more discussions here, please.

[HCI] gesture-based switching weapons

  1. swipe from right side of the screen
  2. an WeaponList should be drawn, and the last weapon will be selected by default
  3. swipe up and down to select the desired weapon (with hapic feedback and sound)
  4. when releasing finger, the desired one will be deployed

Note:
player can swipe from right and release immediately to switch to his previous weapon (just like pressing 'Q' key)
