3-phase Power Inverter Development Repository

Important Information for SELE

  • The guide to use the setup is presented in Guide
  • The repository to import with DAVE is present in DAVE Project

Features

  • The 3-phase 30A@450V power inverter for academic/research purposes;
  • This inverter has built-in measurements of AC currents, AC voltages and DC bus voltage;
  • The inverter is based on infineon IPM IKCM30F60GA module (a low-cost module, with integrated drivers);
  • The control board is based on XMC4500 Relax (lite) kit, a well known board in UP Laboratory of Power Electronics;
  • Reduced cost of hardware (around 100€);

Motivation

  • Decrease the Hardware design, by using a generic multi-purpose power inverter;
  • Decrease the Testing time and increase the Validation outcomes;
  • Increase in Implementation and Control capabilities, without spending too much time in this step;
  • Increase in new contributions to the Scientific Comunity, with more papers.
