qrmbot's Issues

Possible GDPR violation?

The nicks.csv file is tying together callsigns (which count as personally identifiable information) with Reddit accounts without the users' explicit consent. Even if an entry is removed, it remains in the commit history which is publicly accessible. Here's an example. As GitHub is obliged to comply with GDPR while at the same time having no strong obligations towards one individual unpaid user, this could very well result in this repository getting nuked from orbit and the associated account getting suspended.

I'd suggest following GitHub's instructions for scrubbing sensitive data from the repo and resolving not to commit this file to the repo ever again.

Add the /slap command

There used to be a /slap IRC command that was popular on some IRC servers but seems to be missing in modern implementations. It would be cool if the qrmbot could implement it

example:

/slap Khaytsus
qrm: nr0q_radio slaps Khaytsus around a bit with a large trout.

/label feature-request

basedir/bin is Missing

Running script triggers results in messages like 'Tcl error [crypto_msg]: couldn't execute "/home/eggdrop/bin/btc": no such file or directory' due to the repo not having the /bin folder and files.

!atten produces wrong results when called without length

Example:

!atten RG-58/U 1000 MHz 1 m
<qrm> RG-58/U (50Ω) attenuation estimated at 1000 MHz: 24 dB/100 ft (78.74 dB/100 m); loss @length 1 m: 0.79 dB
!atten RG-58/U 1000 MHz
<qrm> 0.032808399 / m

This could easily be mistaken for an attenuation of 0.032808399 dB / m. The !atten syntax stipulates that a length must be used, so the second call is invalid. Maybe we could get an error instead of that weird number? In fact I tried to figure out where that came from and failed to find the line that prints the per-meter line...
