The expected output is debugging messages.  However, instead we are seeing 
Unable to open log device '/dev/log/main': No such file or directory

This is a high priority issue as we cannot isolate any problems in the kernel 
or the rom without DDMS/logcat.

1.   Place phone in car dock (OEM Samsung Car Dock)
2.   Plug in Speakers to car dock with 3.5 mm male to male (or headset)
3.   wait for music/phone calls/noise to come out of speakers.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

   One would expect the music/phone call/noise to come through the speakers, but it doesn't.  It continues to come out of the phone.

   My dream would be to hook up a 3.5mm cable into the car dock with RCA cables on the other end to plug into my kids video system in the back.  I think this could happen if the 3.5mm output on the car dock was enabled in Andromeda (as it has been in other ROMs.)



Do you have any recommendations?

   I could obviously switch ROM's, but you guys are clearly the best.  Or I could beg and plead with you guys to include the car dock fix within Andromeda, and hope that something happens.

We would expect that the choice of ROM would be clear.  The Andromeda ROM was 
designed from the ground up to be the perfect ROM for our phones.  However, 
many have chosen the bulky, buggy, and generic CyanogenMod ROM.  

The Andromeda ROM is the best rom available, hands down..  However, many people 
still have not heard of it.  

Suggested Action:
Make Andromeda ROM's presence more known. Once more people have tried 
Andromeda, they will realize the power, speed and beauty it combines into an 
excellent User Experience.

The swype keyboard has apparently moved to a paid business model. The swyoe 
keyboard is no longer compatible with our license restrictions.

Suggestions?
Drop support of swype keyboard from distribution.

1.Use WP7 Keyboard
2.Type a word and then click on it to replace it with another similar word
3.The replacement word will go into where you selected and does not delete the 
old word therefor making a word sandwich :)

I would expect to see the new word I selected to change it into, but I see a 
word sandwich where the new word is in the middle of the old word.

I use an iComm bluetooth system (Phonak) to connect my hearing aids to my 
phone. There are a couple of issues.

1. With bluetooth connected clicking any app icon connects my bluetooth headset 
for a few seconds then disconnects it
2.I have the sounds et to off on the phone so without the headset there is no 
sound played.

Voice dialing has become a feature which many users rely upon.  This feature 
should be included in Andromeda

Voice dialer is expected to be in most ROMs.  Andromeda does not have a voice 
dialer.

2. change keyboard to Samsung handwriting

The expected output is that Samsung keypad's handwriter works.  It is 
inoperative.  I was able to produce 2 characters, N and .  It then ceased to 
operate.

Output:Audio from video player.  Multiple players attempted, all with similar 
results: Full functionality and audio output from player, black screen video 
output.  Player tools still available and display on screen.

Not able to connect with data network. Phone is able to text and dial and 
recieve phone calls, but not internet surfing or email.

1.attempt using bluetooth head set to dial a contact
2.voice command from the phone does not "hear" if bluetooth head set is 
activated

When I press the call button on my headset, the voice command promt should come 
up then i would say dial "roy lloyd," I expect it to dial.
  Instead I get a beep in my ears, and nothing happens...

It worked in andromeda 2.2 (before it was pulled), and it worked in a few 
nightlies.

Investigate the plausibility of running the netflix app on Andromeda.
