You need to define model for each table used in your project. They describe how to map entity objects (or relations betwen them) to tables (so you don't store those information in entities/logic).

This is the database structure that I use while migrating to DBAL.

Whole structure exactly the same, with only minor differences like Serial became Blob and auto_increment is now autoincrement.
