I’m a passionate engineer in Statistics and Data Analysis, graduated from ESSAI and holding a research master’s degree in Data processing and Complexity of Living Systems from ENIT and Paris Descartes university.
Throughout my professional experiences, I have gained proficiency in a variety of analytical tools, including R, Python, SQL, Alteryx, and Power BI. I’m also certified as a Carpentries instructor.
I began my career as a Data Scientist in the banking sector before moving to Paris.
In my current role as a Data Consultant at the French consulting company ArData, I specialize in using the R programming language. I'm involved in the creation of interactive data-driven web applications using Shiny, implementing effective data visualization practices, automating analytical processes, and providing training in R.
I was pleased to have been awarded the Opportunity Scholarship from Posit in 2023.
I was also extremely happy to be selected as a Diversity Scholar in conjunction with the rstudio::global virtual conference in January 2021. This valuable scholarship gives me opportunities for online networking and support before and during the virtual conference.
I use many programming languages and software for building data solutions. I love programming, but I also love to organize communities where effective knowledge-sharing happens. That’s why I decided to combine these two interests by co-foundering two communities: Tunis R User Group and PyLadies Tunis. I'm also the lead of R-Lades Paris community and a member of the ArabR committee.
I’m also delighted to be part of the R-Ladies Global Team as being responsible for the Onboarding Process. I love participating in widening the R-Ladies communities worldwide. As it was said: “Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others.” - Booker T. Washington
I’m so happy to be part of these great communities. These experiences are helping me to expand my network, meet amazing people worldwide, get inspired by them, and improve my R and Python skills.

Missing functions

In the refresh function, I'm seeing calls to a few other functions - i.e., average_data() - but I don't see those in the package. Did you forget to commit utils.R or some other file?

Package won't install

Hrm - think there might be some leftover cruft from covid19nytimes in the template - can you let me know where?

Looking at location_type, right now it is state_govenrment. Should this just be state, as is in https://github.com/Covid19R/covid19Rdata/blob/6d07385af894f7cf0bbcec6808429daf9a86acf3/controlled_vocabularies/location_type.csv or is this a different demarcation we should add?

location_code_type is nonstandard

refresh_covid19tunisia looking for objects that might not exist currently

I suspect this is related to #3 and a file hasn't been committed/pushed or somesuch, but...
