ebay-search-extention's Issues

Add "New" and "Buy it Now" options

"Hello Mountassir,
Thank you for creating your eBay script to set the default item location to my country. I was wondering if it is also possible to modify the script to select “new” and “buy it now” items only?
Thanks!
Jon"

Hi

I suspect there may be an issue with this extension in firefox.

Recently firefox is only displaying one page of results.

After clearing cach cookies, and disabling AddBlocker+ I found that by disabling your extension restores the search to full multiple page results.

Not sure if this is the reason, but at moment solves the issue.

regards

peter

EU issue

There is a small issue whereby in the UK, if you select only items in my continent region, it selects European Union only
This would be ok, but the UK is not in the EU anymore! So it doesn't show UK listings. Having it select Continental Europe would make it more useful

Support browsing categories too

Great browser extension, so thanks for that.

I notice it only works if I actually 'search' for something. Please considering an enhancement to allow simple category browsing to be location based too.

Continent Region setting not working properly on ebay.com

Using 1.1.15

I frequently use both US and UK versions of eBay and I've noticed this problem.
I have my extension set to Only search for items in my continental region
I also have site access set to only https://www.ebay.co.uk/

However when I navigate to ebay.com, no regions appear to be set (though the Default option is ticked visually), and even listings within the US show as "international". I must manually click a region in the eBay sidebar (eg. Default) in order to get listings to show properly.

So there seems to be two possible issues:

  1. The "continental region", while working correctly on ebay.co.uk, seems to not correlate with any region setting on ebay.com
  2. Despite having site access set to ebay.co.uk only in the chrome extension settings, the extension is having an effect on ebay.com

Advanced search problem

Hi

I tried to do an advanced search including filter by seller. The page went into a load loop and I had to close the tab or disable the extension to complete the search, had me scratching my head for 5 mins.

I am using firefox 78.0.1(64-bit) on windows 10 pro.

Edit: After looking further I have narrowed the problem to the location section. By default it sets the search to worldwide, this appears to cause a conflict. As soon as I changed it to United Kingdom the fault disappeared. I hope that this will be a straightforward fix for you to save others the headache.

Keep up the good work

Search items in EU.

Beautiful extension, thank you.

But I often want to search for items in Europe (I'm italian): in other words, I want to exclude the omnipresent China, Hong Kong etc. So it would be useful if I could set up manually the desired search area (My Country, EU, World...).

New Search Default to 'Default'

Hi, I am trying your extension based on a recommendation from eBay Support. I have it enabled and it appears to work for the first search, but subsequent searches default to 'Default Location'. Is this a bug?

Thanks.
