This is the documentation repository for Mozilla's Playdoh.

To read these docs, go to http://playdoh.rtfd.org .

Patches are welcome! Feel free to fork and contribute to this project.

Hacking

To contribute new bits of documentation, clone this repo and get things set up in a virtualenv by running pip install -r _dev/requirements.txt.

To build and view the docs type make html and open _build/html/index.html in a web browser.

I don't know the file and directories that was generated

I follow the tutorial of the doc http://playdoh.readthedocs.org/en/latest/getting-started/installation.html, and generate lists file and directoris as following:

  • bin/
  • contribute.json
  • docs/
  • lib/
  • LICENSE
  • manage.py
  • manage.py.orig
  • MANIFEST.in
  • migrations/
  • puppet/
  • README.md
  • requirements/
  • projectname/
  • settings_test.py
  • setup.py
  • vagrantconfig_local.yaml-dist
  • vagrantconfig.yaml
  • Vagrantfile
  • vendor/
  • vendor-local/
  • wsgi/

But I just know some of the list, e.g:

  • requirements/ Used for store the info that python packages required by your project
  • projectname Used for contain you project
  • doc/ Used for store you project documentation

Please help me to describe them. Thank you.

Wiki changes

FYI: The following changes were made to this repository's wiki:

  • defacing spam has been removed

  • the wiki has been disabled, as it was not used

These were made as the result of a recent automated defacement of publically writeable wikis.
