This used to show the next merge / soft freeze date, but does not any longer.
There's 4 similar errors in the web console:
Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at
http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-release/raw-file/tip/config/milestone.txt. This can be fixed by
moving the resource to the same domain or enabling CORS.
Currently, http://whattrainisitnow.com/ is showing 39.0.2 as a stable release.
Issue: 39.0.2 never shipped, it was a fennec only build done for a partner. It hasn't ship and won't.
Next merge day is .... , which is 13 Days
(we can use moment.js for this)
Amazing concept. Hats off.
Can we on board all our other products (Firefox OS, Thunderbird, Bugzilla) into the same website? But on different pages. Like have a menu for each on the top. Clicking on a menu item would slide-in the details about that particular train keeping the same layout.
The Firefox OS train could integrate the FxOS Dashboard too.
As part of the dawn project, we are going to end the support of the aurora branch.
I will provide a patch to remove it.
It seems this site still supports a non-HTTPS version which I don't think is needed anymore with modern GitHub Pages.
As of right now, no release version is displayed. The 38.0 & spring release (38.0.5) are "special" and may not match the usual assumptions. Hopefully we'll never do this again, but maybe a link to the wiki would be a good "default" value
Current logos available here: https://mozilla.design/firefox/logos-usage/
In a perfect world, these would be tied to the release number, so that the ESR logo would be correct for the release number at the time. In the meantime, could someone please look up the 68 logo, and use that for ESR?
Currently the stable version is marked as 39.0.2.
We never built a 39.0.2 for Desktop. This was a Mobile only build (which didn't ship).
For stable release, we should differentiate Desktop & Mobile as it is common that they don't ship at the same time.
A blocker for preloading HSTS on mozilla.io is switching http://corsica.mozilla.io/ to HTTPS, however it can't switch until the various sites it displays support HTTPS too, otherwise there will be mixed content warnings.

Just a thought about a possible enhancement: could it be worth adding the number of current ESR (Extended Support Release) version? (Right now it is Fx 38.3.0esr)
I do not know where we could fetch it exactly, though. Current milestone is at https://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-esr38/raw-file/default/config/milestone.txt, but this requires knowing the 38
number; new ESR seems to be out every 7 “standard” versions, so we could probably compute the 38
depending on current release version (current_ESR == current_release - (current_release + 4) % 7
), but this might be hazardous.
@luser: what's your opinion about it?
There's a new Developer Edition icon. We should use it.
@pascalchevrel where did you get the Nightly icon you added? The devedition icons in the branding directory aren't the same size as the icons we have in this repo.
It would be good if website supported dark mode
We've switched to a new logo
whatthetrain says "The next uplift is Mon Jan 05 2015", while the rapid release calendar [0] says 2015-01-12 (rescheduled for holiday conflicts).
Also, still using this all the time to remember trains and dates, thanks :)
Our branding got a refresh this year. It would be nice to update this site to match. The site is currently using the Sandstone theme from the style guide, but the style guide itself doesn't seem to have been updated to the new branding, so that's not much help.
The newer ones are on our branding site but they would need resizing of course
Proposed: webExtension with a 'badged button'.
Thoughts, suggestions, and welcome.
Since beta is uplifts a week early, the source files will list master and beta as having the same version number for the week prior to a release. Maybe product-details is a better source of this information.
